Tolerance is a permissive attitude towards others, especially towards those who have contradictory or opposite views to the views held by us. Tolerance comes from the Latin word “tolerare” which means “to bear”. Tolerance, as such, implies to have conditional acceptance to beliefs, practices and views of others even when one considers them to be wrong.
