Dedication is the application of one’s time, effort and energy entirely to a particular cause. The source of dedication lies inside a person and a dedicated person is driven by his own free will.
Commitment is similar to dedication but the locus of commitment lies outside the person. Commitment suggests that one is bound or obligated or perhaps one has made a pledge
Dedication suggests that one is devoted and there is no need of formal commitment.
Dedication= commitment + perseverance
