Ethics is a system of moral principles derived from Greek word “ethos” which means habit or character.

  • As a discipline, ethics is a part of moral philosophy which goes into identifying and building principles of right or wrong conduct.
  • As a practice, ethics provides us set of rules and principles that guide our conduct as right or wrong.

Ethics are a system of rules widely accepted by the society. Ethics can also be called public morality.
