Citizen Charter in a commitment document highlighting the standards of quality and timeliness for services that an organization is expected to provide it’s consumer. It also explicitly mentions the expectations from the consumers. The aim of citizen charter is to bring transparency and accountability in functioning of government offices and improve the level of trust that the organization enjoys.
