Trustworthiness is a quality of being relied on as honest and truthful. A trustworthy person can be entrusted with secrets and confidential information. Trustworthy people have high credibility and loyalty to a cause or person. As public offices are offices of trust and civil servants have access to wide range of information and discretions, trustworthiness is a moral virtue for a civil servant.
