Sustainable development | Definition | What is Sustainable development?

According to Brundtland Report 1987 (Our common Future) – “Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”

The concept of sustainable development has widened and now it includes socially inclusive and environmentally sustainable economic growth.
